Festival of Winds, Bondi Beach, Sydney

Hello! On Sunday September 10th some friends and I took the train to Bondi Beach to experience The Festival of Winds. Every year, Bondi Beach hosts Australia’s largest flying kite festival! The skies are filled with kites of all shapes and sizes and the beach is packed with people! It was 60 degrees but the sun was blaring! We joke that there really is a huge hole in the ozone layer over Australia 😉 There was food tents alining the beach and ice cream trucks galore! We relaxed, ate and enjoyed the view of a sky filled with kites. Hope you enjoy the photos!

I was worried a skirt wouldn’t be warm enough, but it ended up being just right. My pale pink skirt is from Cotton On, my bodysuit is from Forever 21, my jean jacket is from T.J. Max and my shoes are Toms.

Thank you so much for reading! How cool is that dragon kite? Dracarys! What is your favorite kite?

This beach is beautiful. I love the beach and this picture truly is beautiful. I am so happy to hear that your going to be traveling for your school break. I always look forward to reading your posts. This is truly exciting. Maybe one day I also will be blessed to visit Australia. If I ever do get that chance, I will certainly use all of this information to assist me in my travels. Thank you again for sharing your special time there. Take care and may God bless you and your friends on this trip.

What an AWESOME event! I literally flipped when I saw the whale shark kite! Bondi Beach was already one of my bucket list items because I have some shorts that say Bondi Beach on them, hahah (even though I’ve never been). This definitely gives me more reason to go!!
